Under normal circumstances, the larger the size of the express Bubble Envelope, the higher the cost, mainly for the following reasons:
Amount of raw materials: Large envelopes require more raw materials to make. Whether it is the outer paper or plastic material, or the inner Bubble Film, the amount will increase with the increase of size. For example, a 30 cm long and 20 cm wide bubble envelope, compared with a 20 cm long and 15 cm wide envelope, the length of each side increases, and the corresponding material area will also increase proportionally, resulting in an increase in raw material costs.
Production process difficulty: Larger size bubble envelopes may face some technical challenges in the production process, requiring more complex production processes and equipment. For example, in the composite bubble film and the outer material, to ensure that the large size of the material uniformly fit, the bubble film intact without damage, which has higher requirements for the production process, may increase the scrap rate in the production process, thereby increasing the production cost. At the same time, equipment that produces large-size envelope bags may require greater power and more sophisticated control systems, and the investment and maintenance costs of equipment will also increase accordingly.
Transportation and storage costs: Large-sized bubble envelopes take up more space and add costs during transportation and storage. When shipping, the same number of large envelope bags will take up more shipping space, resulting in higher unit transportation costs. When stored, they require a larger storage area, and storage costs will increase accordingly.
However, when the purchase volume reaches a certain scale, the unit cost may be reduced due to the scale effect, but the overall positive correlation between size and cost still exists.
